Dr Lorenzo Grispan

Dr Lorenzo Grispan is a South African born Italian and a graduate from the University of Witwatersrand. He subsequently completed a 2 year internship at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital where he rotated through Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Psychiatry, Anaesthetics, Orthopaedics and Emergency Medicine. Thereafter he spent a year in Mpumalanga where he was responsible for running a casualty that saw a wide range of medical and surgical emergencies. He has a passion for emergency medicine and is concurrently working in the Medical Emergency Unit at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital with plans to specialise in Emergency Medicine.

Completed courses include: Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS), Point of care ultrasound (POCUS), Basic assessment & Support in ICU and Basic Life Support (BLS).
